Families
Meet the wonderful families that call our village home. Each family has their own unique story, traditions, and special moments that make our community vibrant and full of love.

Apple-Blossom Family
A creative family at the Bakery who love baking, piano, ballet, and the arts. Christopher runs the shop with shaped pastries and competition breads, Jane teaches music and dance, and their daughter Justine rehearses for school shows with her friend Misty Waters.

Caramel Dog Family
An outdoorsy family who love birdwatching, hiking, and weekend adventures. Lance records birds in his notebook, Vivian maps woodland trails for other villagers, and the children pack bags for every family trip.

Fielding Mouse Family
A shy but skilled cobbler family. Eric crafts clogs, boots, and sandals with quiet dedication, Bridget helps in the shop, and their children bring netball spirit and top marks home from school.

Hedgehog Family
The village tailoring family who make clothes for everyone in Sylvania. Mortimer sews at his rocking chair, Eleanor designs wedding outfits and Sunday best, and their workshop is always busy with fabric, ribbons, and new frocks.

Husky Family
A mountain-loving family who enjoy outdoor activities and craftsmanship. Vincent builds and restores cars in his workshop, April keeps a warm and cozy home, and their triplets Leah, Mikey, and Ronny (known on packaging as Rae, Drake, and Nelly) are always ready for games and adventures.

Maces Family

A hardworking family at Applewood Department Store and the village square. Spencer manages the ground floor, Harvey runs Pippin's Café upstairs, and their children help with deliveries and the ice cream counter. Young Lewis is an extra member of the extended Macey family in our village.

Maple Cat Family
A civic-minded family at the heart of village life. Theodore serves as mayor with a notebook full of ideas, Georgina treats the village to homemade gelato, and Jasper and Millie fill their home with stories and flowers.

Slydale Honey Fox Family (Cooper Family)
An active fox family at Larchwood Lodge. George coaches school sports, Mary keeps a warm and welcoming home, Sheldon loves quiet study, and Missy cheers with Lisa and Lucile at Country Tree School.

Underwood Badger Family
The wandering nomads of Sylvania who travel in their caravan and love visiting friends across the village. Benjamin mends furniture and writes about antiques, Beatrix keeps the caravan running, and Byron and Bess bring photographs and village news wherever they go.

Walnut Squirrel Family
The Walnut squirrel family make their home at Cedar Terrace. Cedric is a carpenter and inventor in the workshop, Yardley keeps a sociable household, and their children are often seen playing with friends from the Fielding and Husky families.

Woodbrook Beaver Family
The Woodbrook beavers live at the Red Roof House, a welcoming home with a secret attic. Andrew is the village carpenter, Aubrey loves family outings on her bicycle, and their children Evelyn and Ethan fill warm days with swimming and splashing in the pool.

Bobby and Louisa
He loves woodworking, helping neighbours, and bright-side adventures. She creates a cozy home with cooking and flower arranging.

Rhys and Patricia
He is a cruiser captain full of sea stories behind his red spectacles. She turns fruit into jars of sticky delights and taught their son Frasier to cook. Grandparents of Freya and Crème.

Freya, Stella and Crème
The eldest loves drawing and gymnastics. The middle sister designs birthstone dresses at the village shop, and the baby toddles happily after her big sisters.

Cottontail Grandparents
Christopher and Carmen
He crafts furniture that looks like works of art. She is a D.I.Y expert who loves decorating and improving the family home.

Dante Couple
Troy and Arabella
He paints and decorates the village—and loves tea with custard cream biscuits. She is his childhood sweetheart from drama class who enjoys gardening and homemaking.

Mulberry Raccoons
George, Mildred and Edward
The grandparents travel on their red motorcycle and sidecar—he plans routes and takes photos, she packs picnics and keeps a travel journal. Their nephew Edward crafts wooden toys for village children.

Petite Bears
Margaret and Peter
She teaches table manners with a cheerful smile. He delivers the village post by bicycle—and loves birthday mail most of all.

Teak Persian Cats
Cecilia, Felix and Nora
Cecilia runs her boutique, Felix is one of the kindest boys in Sylvania, and Nora dreams of designing dresses alongside her mother.

Alex Periwinkle
DentistA warm and reassuring village dentist whose gentle smile puts children at ease during check-ups. He enjoys telling stories during appointments, keeps interesting toys in his surgery, and spends quiet evenings with tea looking through his photo albums.

Alfred Cheshire
ButlerA distinguished cream cat butler in a crisp black waistcoat and bow tie who leads the hotel staff with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. His gold pocket watch is famous—no afternoon tea, banquet, or village celebration ever starts late when Alfred is on duty.

Annabeth Maces
A compassionate school nurse who gives medical check-ups and records children's height, weight, and eyesight. She works closely with Doctor Murdoch and George Cooper on student health programmes.

Basil Hazelwood
Café chefA top chef of Sylvania—for Basil, his kitchen is his kingdom. The cheerful brown mouse in sparkling chef's whites cooks at the café and patisserie he runs with his childhood friend Suzette Simpkins, where the two of them dream up the creative menu together.

Doctor Robert Murdoch
DoctorA caring and knowledgeable village doctor who is always ready to help. As a child he played hospitals and was nicknamed Doc, and he still enjoys reading medical journals, birdwatching, and quiet evenings at home.

Emily Nightingale
Hospital nurseA wonderful hospital nurse at the Cottage Hospital who works alongside Doctor Murdoch. Everyone says she only has to smile to make you feel better—in fact, some Sylvanians have been known to pretend they are ill just to visit her!

John Sainsbury
ShopkeeperA warm and welcoming bear who runs a cosy village shop. He loves helping neighbours find what they need and always keeps the shelves stocked with treats.

Martha Basset
HousekeeperA very organised and methodical dog housekeeper in a blue striped dress and embroidered apron—quite the opposite of her whimsical husband Kelly, the resident musician. With her trusty vacuum cleaner and dustpan she keeps everything spic and span, from hotel rooms to the village school, and no speck of dust escapes her.

Professor Butterglove
TeacherA wise and kind village professor who loves teaching and sharing knowledge. He enjoys reading, gentle walks, and helping others learn.

Professor Merryweather
HeadmasterA cheerful and curious professor who brings joy to the village with his enthusiasm for learning. He enjoys nature, storytelling, and spending time with fellow villagers.

Suzette Simpkins
Café waitressA friendly grey cat who welcomes guests at Suzette Simpkins's village café and patisserie. She loves meeting villagers, dreaming up creative menu ideas with her childhood friend chef Basil Hazelwood, and making everyone feel at home with a warm smile.

SchoolgirlA bright Sunny rabbit schoolgirl in a red polka-dot dress with a little flower button. Jessica is a true water bunny—swimming is her strongest sport, and she loves showing off her diving and fancy tricks at the pool.

Lisa Renard
CheerleaderAn energetic fox cheerleader who loves creating new cheers and dance routines. She practises at home, stays active at school events, and dreams of becoming a professional dancer one day.

Lucile Sparkle
CheerleaderA talented rabbit cheerleader who loves performing and being part of a team. She enjoys practicing routines, coordinating with Lisa, and bringing energy to school events.

Misty Waters
SchoolgirlA daydreaming schoolgirl who loves ballet—especially imagining herself in Swan Lake. She is a friend of Justine Apple-Blossom at school shows and spends time with the Woodbrook beavers.
